October 10, 2018: Due to a notice by Fortis BC to request customers to reduce natural gas usage following a natural gas pipeline rupture near Prince George, BC, the City will be making changes at all civic facilities to reduce energy use. The City will be lowering temperatures in all civic facilities by 1.5⁰c, effective immediately. Pool temperatures will also be lowered by 1.5⁰c.

Helmet Regulations

CSA certified hockey, ski or snowboard helmets are mandatory for anyone participating in Learn to Skate lessons. Bike helmets are not permitted as they do not offer the protection needed for ice skating.
