Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre

October 10, 2018: Due to a notice by Fortis BC to request customers to reduce natural gas usage following a natural gas pipeline rupture near Prince George, BC, the City will be making changes at all civic facilities to reduce energy use. The City will be lowering temperatures in all civic facilities by 1.5⁰C, effective immediately. Facilities with pools will have pool temperatures lowered by 1.5⁰C.

October 16, 2018: Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre's leisure pool will be closed from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time and invite you to check out the Fall Aquatic Drop In Schedule for other activities.

  • Swim - Water Walking 8:15AM - 9:15AMexpand

    Main Pool - Shallow (10x12.5m):  A low impact class using walking movements to improve your balance, posture and strength. 





  • Drop In Fitness: Core Conditioning - 13+ 4:30PM - 5:00PMexpand

    Weight Room:  Place emphasis on strengthening your major core muscles, improve balance and core stability. 


  • Swim - Drop In Aquafit - 13+ 8:30PM - 9:30PMexpand

    Shallow 12.5m- Lane 1:  Challenge yourself with this higher impact Aquafit workout that helps further develop your cardio, strength and endurance. Previous Aquafit experience is recommended but not required.

Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre is Surrey's newest and largest aquatic facility. With our commitment to building healthy communities, we aim to provide a variety of aquatic programs and events.

Drop In Schedule


Browse the Fall Aquatic Drop In Schedulefor classes to participate in. Learn how to book your spot online for a drop-in program in advance. Schedules are subject to change without notice.

Fall Aquatic Drop In Schedule Update:

Aquafit on Wednesdays from 8:15pm to 9:15pm will run 8:30pm to 9:30pm instead.

    Enjoy savings by purchasing swipe, 1-month or 1-year passes if you plan to participate regularly. Use your recreation pass at any facility for drop-in: swim, skating, fitness, weights, sports and more! Fees are valid from September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019, and are subject to change without notice. Our 1-month and 1-year passes are valid at all City-operated facilities. All prices include taxes.

    The City of Surrey also offers a Leisure Access Program to provide passes at a reduced cost to residents in financial need.

    Browse the Fall Aquatic Drop In Schedulefor public swim times and aquafit classes. All patrons will be required to present a Recreation Passcard before entering a City of Surrey Indoor Pool

    Age Restrictions 

    Diving Boards

    The 7.5m and 10m diving boards will not be available Monday to Thursday. Patrons interested in going off the 7.5m and 10m boards are encouraged to come on Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Please check the schedule for the specific times the diving boards are open.

    • 7.5m platform - 12 years and older
    • 10m platform - 16 years and older
